HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT LAST?

Semi-Permanent Brows

The pigment used is semi-permanent and can last between 1-5years. The pigment will begin to fade within 12 months so in order to keep your brows looking fresh, a touch up is required every 12 months.

​

Final results cannot be guaranteed as each skin type is unique, will hold pigment differently and will break down at different rates. I will reassess how your skin has taken to the pigment at your top-up appointment and make any necessary changes.

​

Certain areas may not hold pigment during the first appointment and may need to be refilled. Pigment colour may also need to be adjusted, brow thickness changed or more strokes added. This is where the free top up session comes in - where we refine and finalise your brows to ensure they look perfect and retain the colour for as long as possible.

​

No Needle Lip Filler & Wrinkle Filler

Results should last 3-6 months in the lips once the desired volume has been achieved. 

In wrinkles the filler should last 6-8 months.

​

Results are dependant on metabolism and how much water you drink (filler loves water so the more you drink the better your results!)

​

Fat Dissolve

Once fat cells have broken down the results are permanent. A healthy diet and exercise are necessary for best results. Over eating may result in new fat cells being created where old ones have died.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY  APPOINTMENT?

In order to achieve the best results from your appointment there are a few things we recommend:

Brow Appointments:

- Do not take any pain killers such as aspirin or nurofen on the day of your appointment.

- Do not drink any coffee or drinks containing caffeine on the day of your appointment

- Do not drink alcohol 24hrs before your appointment

- Do not tint your brows 4 days prior to your treatment

- Stop taking any vitamins/supplements that are natural blood thinners 1 week prior to treatment

- Do not tweeze, wax or thread your brows 1 week prior to treatment

- Do not use sunbeds 2 weeks prior to your treatment

- Facials should not be carried out 2 weeks before your treatment

- No botox or fillers 4 weeks before your appointment

​

No Needle Filler Appointments:

- Please do not wear makeup on the treatment area on the day of treatment.

- We suggest you do not take the following medications 48hrs before treatment: Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Aleve and also other blood thinners.

- Please do not drink alcohol 48hrs before the treatment – this helps to minimise bruising.

- mNo waxing, bleaching, tweezing or hair removal 3 days prior.

- Primrose oil, Garlic, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng or Vitamin E should not be used 1 week prior.

- No Botox, fillers etc 2 weeks prior.

- If you suffer from cold sores please use a preventative treatment 2 wks prior to your appointment to minimise an eruption.

- Arnica tablets can be taken 2-3 days before to reduce the risk of bruising.

- Eating pineapple for a few days before may potentially reduce your risk of bruising as it contains anti-inflammatory enzymes.

- Ensure you have eaten before your procedure to decrease the chances of light headedness during your treatment.

- Be prepared for a little redness, swelling and bruising to your lip area.

No Needle Fat Dissolve Appointments:

- It is important to avoid anti-inflammatory medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen or diclofenac) for at least 5 days prior to treatment unless it is prescribed for a medical indication.

- Similarly, avoid alcohol and caffeine for 48 hours prior to treatment as this increases the risk of bruising and bleeding.

- Arnica tablets may be taken 5 days prior to treatment (the 30c potency are best).

- Appropriate clothing should be worn on the day of treatment to allow modest access to the area and not be too restrictive or cause discomfort.

- It is advisable to arrive with freshly cleansed skin free of make-up and topical products.

- On the day of your appointment, it’s best to come hydrated and having already eaten (even a small snack) to ensure your energy levels are high and you don’t feel fatigued or hungry.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?

Each appointment at Brow Envy Boutique & Aesthetics is individual and will be tailored to the preferences and needs of each client. However, all appointments include a consultation, patch test/pigment selection if required, brow mapping to choose the shape that is right for you (brow appointments), the treatment and an aftercare kit/instructions.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

Simply use the Contact Form on the Contact tab at the top of this page, or drop us an email to poppy@browenvyboutique.co.uk or feel free to message us through our Instagram or Facebook pages.

You can also click on the 'Book an Appointment' buttons next to each treatments and on the 'Contact Us' page.

We require a deposit at the time of booking to secure your appointment. All deposits are non-refundable but will be taken off the cost of your brows. If you book via the 'Book an Appointment' button, a deposit will not be taken however you will be required to enter your card details in case of a no show in which case your card will be charged for a percentage of the treatment.

​

Once your deposit has been paid or you have booked, we will email you over a consent form (and arrange for a patch test to be done (brows). These must be completed in advance of your treatment.

​

New Brow Clients - your first top up is included for FREE within 6-8 weeks of your your first appointment. This must be booked at the same time as booking your first appointment. This is your responsibility, failure to book in time may lead to not getting booked in within 8 weeks and top ups after this time will be charged.

​

Additional touch-up appointments may be needed for oily, problematic skin, and those who do not follow after care instructions properly at an additional fee.

DO YOU HAVE ANY AFTERCARE ADVICE?

We provide each client with a kit containing the aftercare you will need to look after your brows/Filler. Aftercare is a very important stage and ensures that you heal correctly after your treatment. The main things to remember in the first week are...

​

Brows:

- Keep your brows dry

- Do not carry out any process that could cause excessive sweating (gym, steam rooms or steamy bathrooms etc)

- No sun beds or tanning

- No swimming

- No moisturising creams or similar on the brow area or forehead

- No tweezing, waxing or threading

- No brow hair tinting

​

No Needle Filler:

- Apply the provided cool pack to ease the swelling

- Use the arnica get regularly to minimise bruising.

- Be gentle with your skin for 48hrs after your treatment. Only wash with water, avoiding pressure for the first 24 hrs.

- Drink plenty of water – 2litres a day – to keep your filler hydrated and plump.

- No Steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, sun beds, swimming  & exercise 48hrs after your treatment.

- No Kissing or massaging the treated area until 24hrs after treatment. 

- No Heavy Makeup on your lips/face for up to 1 week after treatment.

- No Hot drinks (lips) and Alcohol for at least 24hrs after treatment.

- No Facials, facial massage for at least 2 weeks after treatment.

​

Fat Dissolve:

- Apply a cold compress or ice pack (wrapped in cloth) at regular intervals to relieve discomfort.

- Use arnica get regularly to keep skin soft, soothe and minimise bruising.

- Remember results are not instant and can take 4-6weeks to show.

Avoid:

- Steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs and hot showers 3-5 days after your treatment.

- Sun beds or exposing the area to sun for 2 weeks.

- Strenuous exercise for 24hrs.

- Aspirin – Paracetamol is a better option to manage pain.

- Massaging the area and applying make-up for 24hrs.

- Alcohol and caffeine for at least 24hrs after treatment.

- Active products including AHA, Retinols, Vitamin C etc.

More detailed aftercare advice will be given after your treatment to ensure you get the best out of your results.

WHAT IS YOUR COVID 19 POLICY?

Cleanliness and hygiene is always at the forefront of everything we do and we hold an up-to-date Infection Prevention & Control certificate.


We will wear a mask throughout your treatment, dependant on Covid restrictions it is your choice.​

​

Please use the hand sanitiser provided when entering and leaving.​

​

Please attend your appointment alone to minimise the number of people in the clinic.

​

If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid 19, including high temperature, persistent cough or lack of taste/smell please let us know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment.

Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell or experiencing these symptoms. The cancellation policy does not apply where Covid symptoms are present or you need to self-isolate. We will rearrange your appointment so that every body stays safe, however deposits will not be refunded if you do not reschedule in advance.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE AT BROW ENVY BOUTIQUE?

Please arrive for your appointment 5 minutes before your allocated time and message me when you are outside so that I can come and let you in. If you arrive early you can message, but please wait in your car until I am free as I may be finishing off with another client or cleaning in-between clients.

​

Please do not be late to your appointment. If you are any later than 10 minutes your appointment may need to be rearranged and you will forfeit your deposit.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

At least 3 days notice must be given to cancel or change an appointment. All deposits are non-refundable, however you may change your appointment without losing your deposit so long you give at least 3 days notice.

​

For bookings made via the 'Book an Appointment' button, your card details will be taken and if you fail to to cancel withing 48hours or you do not turn up, a percentage will be charged to your card.

​

Please note if you are more than 10 minutes late to an appointment, we may have to ask you to reschedule and you will lose your deposit.

​

If new clients do not show up at their free brow top up appointment, the session will be automatically forfeited.

OUR POLICIES

You must be 18+ to have any treatment at Brow Envy Boutique & Aesthetics. If you do not look over 18, you will be asked to show ID. If you cannot show ID or proof of age at your appointment, the treatment will not be able to go ahead and you will lose your deposit.

Due to the clinical environment and the treatments taking place, we ask that you come alone (this includes children) to reduce cleaning time between clients.​

​

We accept cash or card payments, including Credit Card.
